Huawei's latest generation of high-end 3-phase energy storage inverters with 3000 watts rated power is delivered with the hybrid inverter SUN2000-3KTL-M1. This versatile device is the complete solution for solar and storage applications. It is particularly suitable for rooftop installations as well as ground-mounted power plants and can be installed outside of buildings thanks to its IP65 water protection rating.

The advantage of the hybrid inverter SUN2000-3KTL-M1 is that no separate battery inverter is required. The battery is connected directly to the inverter. It is also possible to operate the hybrid inverter without a battery initially and install it at a later date. The installation effort is much lower compared to AC-coupled storage systems.
The SUN2000-3KTL-M1 is compatible with the Huawei Luna2000 battery series and Huawei Smart ESS batteries ranging from 5kWh to 30kWh, among others.

During grid outages, the inverter can provide emergency power supply (EPS) within minimal time through its integrated EPS port.
The integrated energy management system features various user-friendly modes that optimize the user experience, including an automatic self-consumption mode. Different time and/or date ranges or weekday rules can be set. All modes can be conveniently configured via the app.

This state-of-the-art next-generation inverter is equipped with two integrated MPP trackers. Their task is to influence the load resistance in order to continuously optimize the performance of the photovoltaic system. The two MPP trackers offer the great advantage that each solar module or several solar modules connected in series can be controlled as a separate "string." This allows the inverter to handle more complex installations, such as shading issues or different roof orientations.

The integrated WiFi module enables monitoring and control of power generation and storage over the internet using a computer or smartphone via the app. The "Huawei Smart Dongle WLAN FE" is included in the scope of delivery. In addition to WiFi, the device has an RS485 interface for Smart Power Sensor and Smart Logger. Communication with the device is also possible using a "Huawei Smart Dongle 4G" via the mobile network (2G/3G/4G), as an option.

The device has numerous protection functions. To protect against indirect lightning strikes or switching surges, the inverter features type II AC and DC surge protection. Furthermore, the following protections or functions are integrated: DC load disconnect switch, island grid detection, DC reverse polarity protection, insulation monitoring, fault current monitoring, AC overcurrent protection, AC short circuit protection, arc fault detection, inputs for ripple control receivers, integrated PID recovery, battery charging from the grid possible.

The device operates extremely quietly and features natural convection cooling, meaning no fans are installed, further minimizing noise development.
