The manufacturer Huawei delivers the latest generation of a state-of-the-art 3-phase energy storage inverter with 4000 watts rated power with the hybrid inverter SUN2000-4KTL-M1. This versatile device is the complete solution for solar and storage applications. It is particularly suitable for solar roof installations as well as ground-mounted power plants and can be installed outside buildings thanks to its IP65 water protection class.

The hybrid inverter SUN2000-4KTL-M1 has the advantage that no separate battery inverter is required. The battery is connected directly to the inverter. It is also possible to operate the hybrid inverter initially without a battery and install it at a later date. The installation effort is much lower than with AC-coupled storage systems.
The SUN2000-4KTL-M1 is compatible with the Huawei Luna2000 battery series and Huawei Smart ESS batteries from 5 kWh to 30 kWh, among others.

In the event of a power failure, the inverter can provide emergency power supply (EPS) within a minimal time frame through its integrated EPS port.
The integrated energy management system offers various user-friendly modes that optimize the user experience, including an automatic self-consumption mode. It allows for configuring different time and/or date ranges or weekday rules. All modes can be conveniently configured via the app.

This state-of-the-art next-generation inverter is equipped with two integrated MPP trackers. These trackers are responsible for influencing the load resistance in order to continuously optimize the power of the photovoltaic system. The two MPP trackers offer the advantage of being able to control individual solar modules or multiple modules in series as a separate "string." This also enables more complex installations, for example, in case of shading issues or different roof orientations.

The integrated WiFi module allows for monitoring and controlling power generation and storage via the internet using a computer or smartphone conveniently through the app. The "Huawei Smart Dongle WLAN FE" is included in the package. In addition to WiFi, the device has an RS485 interface for Smart Power Sensor and Smart Logger. Optional communication with the device is also possible using a "Huawei Smart Dongle 4G" via the mobile network (2G/3G/4G).

The device has numerous protection functions. To protect against indirect lightning strikes or switching surges, the inverter has Type II AC and DC overvoltage protection. The following protections and functions are also integrated: DC load disconnection switch, island network detection, DC reverse polarity protection, insulation monitoring, fault current monitoring, AC overcurrent protection, AC short-circuit protection, arc fault detection, inputs for ripple control receivers, integrated PID recovery, battery charging from the grid is possible.

The device operates extremely quietly and is cooled by natural convection, which means that no fans are present, further reducing noise.
